The Sony SNC-RS86P is an outdoor IP camera which offers powerful 36x optical zoom combined with 360กใ pan and 210กใ tilt which provides coverage of a large area with a single camera and still capture highly detailed footage. To improve footage in difficult lighting conditions, the camera also features Visibility Enhancement which lets the camera capture detailed video of both brightly lit and shaded areas simultaneously.
In addition to this, Advanced DEPA video analytics are built into the camera which helps to increase the accuracy of the event detection system and reduce false alarms. The SNC-RS86P also has day/night functionality to enable the camera to continue recording around the clock when used with infrared lighting (sold seperatly)
A Compact Flash card slot is also built into the camera which provides local storage of footage direct to the camera or can be used with the Sony SNCA-CFW5 Compact Flash wireless card to provide wireless connectivity .
